The Himalayan Foundation USA’s mission and impact

The Himalayan Foundation USA is a is a Pittsburgh based, 501(c)3, non-profit organization founded in 2016 to provide quality-of-life enhancing services to the most vulnerable segments of the Bhutanese immigrant community in Southwest Pennsylvania. It is dedicated to improving the lives of people in the Himalayan region through various programs. These programs focus on:

• Education: Providing scholarships, building schools, and supporting literacy programs.

• Health: Offering medical aid, health education, and infrastructure support.

• Cultural preservation: Promoting traditional arts, crafts, and cultural heritage.

• American Sign Language classes

• Facilitate socialization
